Registration

  • I am chartered with and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Clinical Experience

  • I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004 and worked in the NHS until 2012 where I worked with clients with severe, complex and enduring mental health needs both across inpatient and community settings. I would also routinely offer psychological supervision and training to NHS staff and would supervise and mentor clinical psychology trainees.
  • I was also the Clinical Lead for the Autistic Spectrum Disorder Assessment & Diagnosis Service for Adults in Portsmouth in line with The National Autism Strategy (Department ofHealth, 2010) to provide ‘gold standard’ assessments to working-age adults.
  • Since 2012, I have been offering evidence-based psychological treatments that follow best-practice guidelines in my private practice in Petersfield, Hampshire. I have clinical specialisms in working with complex trauma (often diagnostically termed ‘Personality Disorder’) and autism spectrum conditions.
  • From 2015-2018 I offered clinical supervision and consultation at The University of Portsmouth Wellbeing Service to support staff in delivering psychological treatments to students.
  • I regularly engage in mindfulness-based meditative practices and am experienced in applying these techniques in clinical treatment.
